The Resurrection of a Jezebel || Part 1/2

All the world’s a stage, and all the men and women merely players: They have their exits and their entrances; and one man in his time plays many parts.”
~Shakepeare

“The dead has arisen….”

A couple of weeks ago, I had the strangest dream in which I saw a deceased family member literally pierce the veil and walk from the spirit realm back into the earth realm with the same body and name as if they had never left. In other words, the person was “resurrected” and upon their “rebirth,” they returned into the same likeness after having died a year earlier. Upon her re-entry, she had a certain “air” about her that read: “Yep, I’m back and I’m here to settle some debts.”

Shocked was an understatement upon her return. If you stop and think about – to fake one’s death and then come back as if nothing happened is a little far-fetched. It wasn’t like she died under suspicious circumstances – she was in the hospital, attended to by doctors and nurses, then upon her death, her body was handled by funeral home personnel and eventually, embalmed and buried. This wasn’t a situation where a person had gone missing and legally declared died after an extended time frame had gone by. So the term shocking was truly an understatement. Besides myself, the only other person who seemed unbothered by it all was the person in question. Per an online obituary, she died on March 13, 2018, and was buried on March 20, 2018. (For more details, be sure to check out my post entitled The Ritualistic Death of a Jezebel for symbolic references between when she died and when she was buried especially since she was buried on the Spring Equinox.)

Now in my dream of sorts, I was a bystander watching the madness unfold right before my eyes. In one “scene,” she returned to her house and found it empty. Everything was gone. There was no furniture, clothing, food, nothing. Now of course in real life, after someone dies, it’s typical for the family to clean out their belongings so they prepare it for new owners or dwellers, right?!? But in this case, she wanted to know where all her items were and she did not stop until she got a majority of her stuff back – mainly furniture and clothing. Needless to say, she tracked down those who initially took hold of her possessions and it didn’t matter if any of it had been sold or given away – she was determined to get it back even if she had to utilize the court system. Now, in real life, she stayed clear of the Courts. But in this “resurrection,” she came back with a quiet vengeance. It’s almost as if she came back to “see” if everyone had done what they said they were going to do and if they hadn’t, they were going to pay for their actions. But even so, she was quite selectively in who she went after. It was so strange because she “turned” on the people who were actually loyal to her when she was alive (or at least they appeared to be loyal). Now, she wanted to see just how loyal they had been since her departure. Think of it this way: If someone is on their death bed and they make a request. You tell them that you are going to make that wish come true. They may ask you to promise or swear that you do whatever it is that they desire and you say “Yes.”

  1. Now, did you agree to fulfill that wish because the person is dying and you feel sorry for them?
  2. Or did you agree because of your genuine love and care for them and find it honorable that this person asked you to take on such a responsibility – whatever that may be?

Under the latter example, you’d want to honor their wishes, to keep their memory alive because you loved the person and hopefully not because you felt manipulated to do so. Unfortunately, many of the people that were around my Jezebel were people that she had groomed. I refer to this in my book, The House of Jezebel, as eunuchs (or adults who are unable or unwilling to make sound decisions without the influence of a third party who may or may not be acting in their best interest.)

Now stop and think: [ctt template=”3″ link=”R9D82″ via=”no” ]If I were a eunuch and my ruler died, then how soon would I realize that I was free?[/ctt]How soon would I come into the knowledge that the one who ruled with an iron fist is no more? I don’t have to follow their lead any more than I’M FREE! I’d probably come to the realization that I don’t need to carry out any promised wishes because they’ve died and wouldn’t know if I did or did not comply, right?!?

This is one of the interpretative meanings for this dream because she was going after everybody that was “loyal” to her before her death. Not to mention that her return defied the laws of the Universe, so there were lawsuits popping off because people wanted answers, as many felt like it was a conspiracy for money and other gains and everybody, must have been in on it from the hospital to the funeral home, to relatives – you name it. Again, I’m watching all of this like it was a sitcom. Even those in charge of the estate had to suddenly give an account not just to a judge but to Jezebel herself as to what they did or didn’t do. They all looked like a deer in headlights because in the back of everyone’s mind but no one would dare say it aloud: “LADY, YOU WERE DEAD!” In other words, “When you die, you stay gone. You’re not supposed to come back – and at least not in this lifetime and certainly not like this!”

Sorry But You’re Dead

A few days after I had the above “dream”, I jokingly shared it with a close friend not realizing that on the opposite side of the world, an alleged “resurrection” had taken place at a church in South Africa. In a nutshell, a pastor/prophet had “resurrected” a man from the dead before a huge congregation. As a result of this “staged” event, a group of funeral home directors was banding together to sue the prophet as they felt they had been “duped” into participation. Then, in a later news clip, fellow employees speak out about the “resurrection” and even the guy’s “former” boss said he heard that rumors that the guy – who was actually a very good worker – had tried to recruit fellow coworkers and that he had been involved in an earlier wheelchair scam. And here I was thinking my “dream” was bizarre enough then someone like this hits the news. Needless to say, the art of faking one’s death isn’t unheard of.

In a 2018 article entitled The Psychology of Faking Your Own Death, the writer, Janet Burns, conducted a phone interview with Dr. Marc Feldman, Clinical Professor of Psychiatry with the University of Alabama, and he shared that a majority of the people who suffer from factitious disorders (FD, formerly known as Munchausen Syndrome) tend to have personality disorders” like narcissistic personality. He goes on to share:

In general, persons with factitious disorder are known for feigning or exaggerating illness in order to gain attention from or control over others. Malingering, on the other hand, is characterized by ‘skillful planning’ to feign illness in order to gain a tangible advantage rather than an emotional one, and is not considered a mental illness. [However,] no sympton or ailment seems to be outside the known range of factitious behavior….

‘They tend to have personality disorders, which just means they have long-term maladaptive ways of getting their needs met, with hurtful actions rather than words. The distinct majority do in fact have a personality disoder, like borderline personality disorder, or narcissistic personality disorder.”

Although he references to suicide as the most common way in which people fake their deaths, he goes on to say “the emotional weight and social stigma involved make it a particularly powerful – and in some ways increasingly common – method of deception and control. ‘Factitious disorder is not just about getting attention; it can be about manipulating people….”

The Synchronicity of It All

Strangely enough, on the morning of this “dream,” the moon was in the WANING GIBBOUS state (89%) in the sign of Libra. Per NataliaRuna.com explains for a waning gibbous moon: “During this time, the moon is more than one-half but not fully illuminated, & decreasing. As the moon appears to be getting smaller, it is a good time to focus on ridding of things such as bad habits, stresses, or negative thinking.” Now Libra is an AIR ELEMENT and its strength centers around JUSTICE. Let that soak in – JUSTICE?!? Justice for who though?🤔 Furthermore, that day was as a “lunar day 18, which is associated with MIRRORS – mainly spiritual mirrors and how our inner world reflects our outer world.

Dreams about a deceased person faking his or her own death have everything to do with how you felt about that person and oftentimes that feeling is being mirrored (or reflected back) by someone of a similar nature that’s in your life at present. According to dreammoods.com: “Generally, dreaming about someone’s death implies that your feelings for that person are dead or that a significant change/loss is occurring in your relationship with that person…If you dream of a person who has died a long time ago, then it suggests that a current situation or relationship in your life resembles the quality of that deceased person. The dream may depict how you need to let this situation or relationship die and end it.” <#thojbook>
